In life there will always be things we have no control over, that is because we’re not meant to.

The only thing we do have control over is our attitude. Let go, and experience everything in life throws your way, the highs and the lows. Because every one of those are there to show you inner strengths and weaknesses.

As much as we would love to be able to fix everything, the first thing we need to fix is our outlook, our expectations, our inner child. It is only then, that the doing becomes effortless.

God gave us an Eden. Eden is within every person, there’s good and bad. Some walk beside the serpent, whilst others rejoice in their blessings.

Which one are you?

Here’s a story you might like.

A rich man walked by a beggar.

The rich man scolded the beggar for being an eye sore on his way to his fancy job.

The poor man asked if he could help him.

The rich man laughed and said yeah, I’ll help you!

Here’s a dollar go buy a paper and get a job!

The poor man who had only the clothes on his back did just that! Although the rich man had little faith in him getting a job, the money he gave him knew nothing about failure, it resonated with the energy of success that the rich man cast upon it.

The rich man walked by the spot where the beggar would sit and for several weeks he didn’t see him.

Day by day the rich man became depressed, his career was failing to bring profit, his relationship deteriorated and he wasn’t as cocky as he once was.

As he stopped to get a coffee and cupcake, he spied a man looking across at him smiling. He turned awkwardly away, the man approached him and said ‘hey! Don’t you recognise me?! The rich man replied’ no l don’t!’ The man said because of you l am now successful.

I used a dollar you gave me to look for a job and they were so impressed with my knowledge of that they offered me a management position, car, accommodation and a royal salary. You see l used to be run a very lucrative business, l too we’re like you, smug, looking down my nose at beggars and then my life fell apart. I was dealt my karma and, by the look of it, you are being dealt your karmic debts.

So, l want to thank you for the dollar because l have quadrupled it thousands of times over. And don’t worry about paying for that coffee and cupcake, because I gladly paid for it.’ Just as he was about to turn and walk away he said ‘never disavow a beggars purse because you never know when you might be that beggar’.

The moral of the story is:

Never judge a person based on their appearances, colour or creed. Because you are putting out the welcome mat for others to judge you.
