Life Is Like An Hourglass🌹🪽

We’ve all done it..

We go through life just expecting our loved ones to continually be there. A Mother or Father might drop their child off at school and all of a sudden their child is too big to be kissed goodbye, it’s embarrassing.

It suddenly feels awkward.

And then comes a day that Mother or Father isn’t there any more and that child will give anything in the world, to have them just embrace them and give them a kiss no matter what others think. In that moment, they wouldn’t care, but the problem is we are human and humans often have vanity and ego and this feeling that affection from a parent can sometimes be used against us or picked on by our peers.

How many times have we heard ‘He’s a mama’s boy!’ or ‘Don’t you think it’s time to cut the apron strings?’ Many of us now who’s parents are no longer in our physical realm will be the one saying “You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone.”

Whilst we might not always have a good relationship with our parents, there are people in our life regardless of whether their parents, friends, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles or grandparents, once they’re gone, it’s too late to make up for that time wasted in a way where we can sit and just say whatever you want to their face and hold them.

Life is an hourglass, we all have a limit of time available to us. Sometimes bitterness can stand in our way of making peace, and once that final grain has dropped through the hourglass that life is gone.

None of us are perfect. But we can perfect our way of thinking and behaving whilst we have them here, make the effort to remind them how important they are to you before you lose that chance to do so.

Although, once they are on the other side they can still hear and see what you’re going through. The only difference is you can’t touch them, you can’t hold them unless there’s a dream visitation, and who wants to wait for dreams if they’ve got that chance now?

And for those whose loved ones are on the other side, if this has touched you don’t feel that they can’t hear your words and thoughts now. Wherever there is love there is always life even if you can’t see it or touch it.

Embrace your blessings
