What Is ITC (Instrumental Transcommunication)?

Instrumental Transcommunication, or ITC, is the name for a group of methods that people use to try to communicate with spirits using physical tools or electronic devices. It’s like using technology or nature as a ā€œbridgeā€ to the spirit world.

Think of it as a way to ā€œtune inā€ to spiritual message kind of like dialling a radio station, but instead of music, you’re hoping to receive images, sounds, or symbols from the other side.

The day my dog showed himself during a livestream demonstrating how to do an ITC session using water as the medium.

How ITC Works

The idea behind ITC is that spirits can manipulate energy or subtle matter whether that’s light, sound, static, or movement. By setting up certain conditions or tools, we give them a canvas to send messages.

These messages may come through as:

• Mysterious voices on recordings

• Faces or images in smoke, water, or light

• Symbols or letters that appear where they normally wouldn’t

Types of ITC Methods (Electronic + Visual)

1. Audio ITC (Voices from the Beyond)

• EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena):

Record silence or white noise. On playback, you may hear spirit voices answering your questions.

• Spirit Boxes / Ghost Radios:

Radios that scan stations quickly, creating random bits of sound. Spirits are believed to use these sound bits to form words or phrases.

2. Visual ITC Using Nature or Physical Mediums

These methods don’t rely on electronics, but rather on fluid, reflective, or chaotic environments that spirits might use to show themselves.

Smoke:

• Light incense or burn herbs in a dark or dim room.

• Film the smoke rising—especially with a strong backlight or flashlight.

• Upon review, some people report seeing faces, symbols, or even full scenes within the swirls of smoke.

Water (Also Called ā€œWater Scryingā€):

• Use a bowl of still or swirling water under soft lighting.

• Ask questions or set an intention, then record or photograph the surface.

• Review images slowly—spirits may use the ripples and reflections to form faces, animals, or symbolic shapes.

Mirrors or Reflective Surfaces:

• A dark mirror, black screen, or even an old TV screen can be used.

• In a quiet space, gaze into the surface or record it.

• People often report seeing sudden changes, ghostly outlines, or movement that wasn’t visible at the time.

Steam or Condensation:

• In a foggy mirror or a steamed window, some practitioners see symbols, fingerprints, or writing that seems to appear from nowhere.

Why Do Spirits Use These Methods?

The belief is that spirits exist on a different frequency or vibration, and using tools like smoke, water, light, and sound makes it easier for them to shift energy into a form we can perceive.

Just like a painter needs a canvas, spirits may need a medium—a physical or digital one—to make themselves known, heard or seen.

Now the ITC video of the actual session using smoke as the medium or trans communication tool for spiritual beings to appear in. Whilst many might say this is pareidolia which does exist since you can make faces out of clouds etc.

However, what we are looking for is in distinguishable evidence.

This ITC SESSION uses smoke as the trans communication tool to assist spirits in showing themselves.

What Helps ITC Work Best?

• A quiet, open-minded space

• A strong spiritual intention (ask permission, invite only loving spirits)

• Patience—it often takes practice

• Recording or photographing the process to review slowly afterward

• A calm emotional state—fear or high emotion can block the connection.

I hope this clears up a lot of confusion that people have about ITC.

Stay blessed šŸ™šŸ»
